The Trayvon Martin Story

For this project I decided to create a story vessel on the Trayvon Martin story. This is a story that touched not just me but all of America. Trayvon Martin was a 17 year old boy that was gunned down by an white man late at night. This is story that I find is very sad because he was stereotyped as a black man that was going around robbing people. Trayvon Martin was taken away from this world too young. I really thouht this was an interesting story and I wanted shed light on his sad story.

Project of Choice

 

For the Project of Choice I decided to create a cup. In my opinion I could have done way better for this project. I think that I should have managed my time way better. At the begging of doing this project this isn't what I was going to do, but I had to settle for a cup.

Slab Box

 
The Slab Box project was also one of my favorite projects that we have done this semester. This project was somewhat easy, but i struggled with the top of the Slab Box. I think that this project eould have looked way better if the top was able to come off.

Slab 3 Footed Cylinder

 

This project was very easy to do and it was very fun. I decided to do the triangular pattern because it looked very cool on the cylinder. I am really happy that I did this project so well. If I had the chance i would for sure create this type of cylinder again.

Animal Alibrije Sculpture

 




For this project I decided to create a ladybug. This project was fairly easy, but the painting messed it up. The smudging of the paints made the ladybug look dark and bad in my opinion.

Coil Pot

For this project I decided to create a coil pot that was not only unique in color but the design. I decided to a deep blue to create a deeper look for pot. Something I could have done better was make all of the coils the same side.

Sgrafitto Six-Word Memoir Pinch Pot

For this project I decided to create a music inspired Six-Word Memoir Pinch Pot. This was my first project so I had to figure out how to create the pot. This project was fairly easy and fun to do.
